Julian Akers Douglas Long Shirt
I have always been a fan of smocking and a Akers Douglas piece has been on my hit list to source now for a while now! This beautiful piece has the most delicious hand smocking, pin tucked ballon sleeves and lovely pie crust neck. Julian Akers Douglas was taught while she was at convent school and each of her pieces are hand made, she has been featured in the V&A museum and her pieces are quite collectible. Made from a beautiful soft cotton, has a small mark on the sleeve which I have photographed and taken into consideration when pricing.
